Badger Mtn. Restoration (January) 1/2
 | This was the first "Winter Work Party" organized by Benton County at Badger Mountain. The Winter Work Parties are a series of volunteer work sessions held on Saturdays throughout the cold season, and are usually held at Horn Rapids or Two Rivers Parks. On this day, about 22 volunteers began landscape-scale sagebrush repatriation to recently burned areas of Badger Mountain's north face. About 330 big sagebrush seedlings were hand-planted, and additional sagebrush seed collected locally was also broadcast.
